If TASAKI were a watch, what form would it take?Krüger’s skill in distilling a client’s universe into a singular, meaningful symbol inspired the creation of a new line of watches. The design centres around a simple yet powerful shape—a rectangle—extended and evolved to create a harmonious design from caliber to case. The TASAKI rectangle features distinctive elongated proportions, inspired by the mosaic of floating rectangles that characterise their pearl farms.

This collection introduces a new form to TASAKI’s timepiece portfolio, along with their first bespoke caliber, conceived and designed by Krüger using her FK:μ micro–mechanical foundation and crafted in partnership with trusted manufacturers.
Creating a small and slim self–winding mechanism is a remarkable feat of engineering and precision, demanding unparalleled skill and adherence to the highest quality standards. At this micro–scale, every step—from machining to finishing to assembly—gains complexity.Tiny components, some no larger than a speck of dust, must perform reliably and continuously. Held together by a rectangular main plate and a mosaic of bridges, the caliber’s design defies convention, blending technical precision with contemporary aesthetics.
The case, pure and slim in its proportions, fits comfortably on any wrist, thanks to articulated lugs. These components, mere millimetres in size, and the case itself, are meticulously hand–finished with brushed surfaces and polished edges. The watch's small scale demands extraordinary technical expertise, reflecting our production partners' exceptional skill and commitment to quality.
The final stage is the creation of compelling assets that encapsulate the universe behind the product and the process that brought it to life. High–quality videos and stunning photography allow us to present the journey from concept to finished collection.
