Fiona Krüger’s practice spans artistic disciplines, bringing together the worlds of Fine Art, Design and Horology. She has an academic background, having taught on the MAS programme at ECAL for over 10 years. Combined with her creative practice and innovation–driven brand, Krüger brings a unique and informed insight to Dubai Watch Week and the Horology Forum.
Enjoying international renown and regarded as the reference event in the watchmaking calendar, the bi–annual Dubai Watch Week (DWW) provides an educational platform for the purpose of sharing knowledge, building connections and celebrating watchmaking. A pioneer in the industry, DWW is a diary–must, combining masterclasses, panels, and exclusive launches from the industry’s major players.
An original concept created by DWW, the Horology Forum has become the pioneer of panel–led discussions within the watch industry. This international bi–annual event, comprised of free–flowing discussions between master craftsmen, captains of industries, visionaries and seasoned collectors, fosters the exchange of knowledge and debate of the most salient topics. The Horology Forum panelists branch out across a diverse range of industries, the common thread holding participants together is the level of passion and commitment to excellence shared.
Through DWW Masterclasses lead by Fiona Krüger, and speaking engagements as part of Horology Forum panels and debates, Fiona Krüger is able to share with attendees her insights and creative process.
